Yorkie-Chon’s fur should be brushed regularly with a grooming brush in order to avoid matting and also pick up loose hairs that can be shed on the floor. Special attention should be paid to areas behind its ears in order to avoid fur mats. Nails should also be clipped monthly and teeth brushed once a week; in addition, its ears should be cleaned on a regular basis in order to avoid infections.
